BT-330 – Double-Sided Butyl Tape
Non-curing double-sided butyl tape, 3 mm thick, placed between sheets to seal metal roof laps, FRP skylight sheets and cooling tower panel joints during installation.

Technical Data
Per the manufacturer TDS; adhesion and heat resistance tested to JC/T 942-2022.
Technical Features
BT-330 seals the lap at installation instead of patching over a leak afterwards.
3 mm butyl layer
Fills the gap between sheets at the lap, sealing against water and air.
Built for hot metal roofs
No flow at 100 °C × 2 h; peel strength stays ≥ 0.5 N/mm after 168 h at 80 °C.
Non-curing butyl
Stays soft after application and moves with the sheet through thermal expansion.
Cold application
Peel and stick: solvent-free, no sealant gun, no drying time.
Applications
For joints that must both bond and seal between two surfaces.
Factory metal roofs
Laps of corrugated galvanized, Galvalume and color-coated sheets.
FRP skylight sheets
Laps between skylight sheets and metal roofing on pre-engineered buildings.
Cooling towers
Panel joints of FRP cooling tower casings.
Silos, ducts, gutters
Joints of steel silos, ventilation ducts and gutters.
Installation
- Remove dust and oil from the sheet edge; the surface must be dry.
- Apply the tape to the edge of the lower sheet and press along its length.
- Peel off the top release liner.
- Place the upper sheet and press evenly along the edge.
- Tighten fasteners with moderate torque; water-test after completion.
